Why does banana make her poop so much and other questions...

Just started DD on solids a few weeks ago. Bananas make her poop SO much...I thought they are a binding fruit? Why is she pooping so much when she eats them?

Also...she got a really bad rash when she ate carrots. It could just be her regular eczema (she has very sensitive and dry skin)....I thought carrots were supposed to be one of the least-likely foods to cause allergies?

Can't explain why banana's make her poop so much, because it happens to me too Generally speaking it is a binding food, but there are us exceptions out there

As for the carrots, I would wait for the rash to clear and then try again. If she gets another rash, then perhaps she is having a reaction to the carrots. Did you try anything else new? other foods, diapers, wipes, etc.?

I believe bananas also have a lot of fiber ... so it's kind of a toss up, they can bind or....the other...

I have one that it binds her and the other poops a lot.
