Why does the last 10 minutes of work feel like an eternity

This whole day has been dragging. We had 3 people in our group call out sick. Now it's 10 min left and would the clock just speed it up a little so I can get to my warm home, slip into my PJ's, my comfy slippers and some hot chocolate
