why dont I go to bed early?

anyone else feel like this time is their only ME time?

Every night I swear I will go to bed early so I'm not so tired the next day and every night I stay up past 12.

Theres just sooo much to do at night when the baby is in bed.

Totally the same way! I always say I am going to go to bed early and never do! I have to make sure everything gets done or I will have double tomorrow! Then when I get up in the morning I feel like I slept for 10 minutes!!

Ugh, I do the same thing. And I can't even say I'm all that productive with my "me" time...

I went back to work about 6 weeks ago. It's worse now because after dinner cleanup, folding a little laundry, making bottles, pumping, making lunch ect..........I want some down time and it's like 10:30 by the time that happens

You are soooo not alone. I didn't go to bed until 12 last night. Only for DS to wake up at 1:15 to eat.

And yet I still have 2 loads of laundry to fold/put away, empty the dishwasher, put pots away from last night, and get us out of the house by 10:20am today to take his GiGi to the doctor.

ME, ME, ME!!!!!!!!!

Especially since Megan goes to bed a little later than most, I feel like I need to stay up half the night for any me time at all. Which includes, folding laundry (how sad is that that I consider that me time??), cleaning up, watching the news, coming on here without interruption, sometimes showering and/or getting ready for the next day.

Sometimes I do the same and say I am going to bed earlier..but the time comes and I am either too busy or just enjoying the quiet time too much, that I wind up staying up half the night.

Every day I say the same thing.."i'll get to bed early tongiht." never do. I get home from work at 9:30, 3 nights a week, adn I just can't go right to bed.

So, yes, I compltely get it.

Aw, I know what you mean, I love that time...but I usually can't stay up much past 10:30!! 7pm-10:30 is When I sit on the couch after Charlie goes to bed my body actually feels like its relieving all the tension of being up and about all day long.

I feel the same way. DS goes to bed at 7:30, then DH and I have alone time. He usually heads to bed by 10:30, and I find myself staying up till midnight or later just to get ME time!

I say I'm going to sleep early everyday..never happens..I say I'm going to wake up early in the morning to spend time with my lil girl..that never happens..I'm exhausted all time...I just need to get a routine...I also have 14 year old..who I need to make sure has all his homework is done and spend time with him too..my hubby doesn't understand the stress I feel sometimes...

Yes I DEF know what you mean. I always say every morning when i'm zombie walking to the bathroom that I am going to go to bed when dd does and it NEVER happens. Not only do I have to straighten up and get ready for the next day but after I just want to sit and watch TV and relax.

Jack is in bed by 6:30 and I still don't feel like I have enough "me" time at the end of the night. Between cleaning up the toys, figuring out what's for dinner, running errands that I can't do with him, there is never enough time at night.

There have been a few nights recently when I was passed out by 8:30 -- I woke up at 12am and thought it was the next day already I was so well rested!

I do this too - my mind won't settle before 11:30 or so!
