why have my thighs gotten bigger!?!?!?!?
UM, I'm 22 weeks and i have a belly you can definitely tell that I'm pregnant when I wear a tighter shirt, but not so much when I wear a looser dress...but I definitely feel that my thighs have grown, and believe me they didn't need to grow!!! I've gained 14 pounds and I swear its in my boobs azz and thighs, all places I DID NOT need it going!!!
Sorry, just needed to vent!!!!

yeah, for me it's my butt  which had its own gravitational pull even before I was preggo  the wierd thing is that I lost 5lbs in the first trimester, regained it and another 14 lbs as of 33.5 weeks .... so I really didn't gain THAT much. Why is my posterior so enormous???!
It's fine. BF'ing will get rid of it... at least I was promised it would!

I understand. The boobs got bigger, didnt need that to happen. The thighs definately got bigger but that started happening more in the 3rd trimester and the azz definately got bigger but I was in denial about that until I went to go sit on something that I normally did fit on and couldnt that day. 
I hope all the things that got bigger shrink

I feel like mine are starting to rub together.....seriously I'm not happy...my face actually got THINNER..I was normal weight to begin with....everyone is like ur sooo tiny, not if u were me running to make the train in Penn Station every day with my thighs rubbing together

I'm right there with you. I've gained a ton of wait in my boobs, arse and thighs...and didn't need another ounce in any of those places! This week's email from what to expect was right on for me...it said to keep repeating...i''m not fat! im growing a baby!

I gained the same amount around 20 weeks and it's all gone to my belly and disbursed mainly to my butt and legs, I'm not stressing it because it will come off after baby is here, don't worry!

I can totally relate. I am only 12 weeks and my *** has gotten bigger and my thighs are not only huge, but now I have cellulite on them to boot. I have read somewhere (cant remember where right now  ) that you hips and thighs get bigger to support you growing stomach. Perfect as if my thighs weren't alrady large enough to support a hippo.

my hips have gotten bigger too and everyone is like its birthing hips, well I had hips wide enough to birth a small country before I got pregnant, so honestly they really didn't need to get bigger!!!

I don't know!!!!!!!
I think I read somehwere once that physiologically, our thighs and but grow so that we can make a cushy lap for our babies to sit in. That is just Darwinism though.
I'm sure that a lot of it is water and whne the baby is born it will shed off....

My thighs, hips and butt have gotten big! Its so annoying, because I don't have strech marks on my stomach but I do on my thighs! So gross!

I feel your pain..... so dissapointed. I've been on restrictions from doing any type of walking, exercise etc the whole pregnancu so, I cannot wait to get back on track!!
