Re: Why is it, when I go to AC Moore or Michaels
I actually completed to projects. I decorated a clay pot. Way too easy! I just used rub on decals. I just had to cut them out and place them where I wanted them and just rub it on. Came out nice! I also made a bracelet. There are alot of easy things to do!

I love crafts! DH and I spend hours in those stores. I make a lot of stuff too. I am not saying I am any good but I do try!

Re: Why is it, when I go to AC Moore or Michaels
I have literally like 100 of those latch hook thingies. I start them, then wind up just getting the pieces of yarn all over the place and throwing it on the side of the couch. Its the easiest thing in the store and I Still dont finish them. My family makes fun of me because one time I bought a wooden jewerly box that I painted and I was going to glue my dh;s name on it..well I Did this and all the letters fell off the next day, the paint chipped (I bought the wrong kind) and the box's hinges broke.
I am not crafty to say the least!

I do love those stores and honestly I was never good at any of that stuff. One day I just picked up a scrapbook and started....I dont know if its any good but, I try.
In process of one now for my sister, my niece to come
Considered a class?
ETA: its also can get very $$$...the hobbies.
OMG...scrapbooking is so much money. I had no idea and then when it was all rung up I was like "hold the phone!!!!". Crazy how much it adds up too.

Re: Why is it, when I go to AC Moore or Michaels
i love crafts as well, but i think when you are really into a hobby (e.g. knitting) there are better stores where you can get a product with more quality for a few more dollars. i knit and the yarn at michaels isnt that great. i have not tried scrapbooking yet, but i'd imagine there are better stores out there for it. i went to michaels a lot for wedding craft stuff.
