Why is my cat sneezing

She has been sneezing a few times a day for about 2 days, is this something I should worry about? She I take her to the vet...She is eating and pooping normal....TIA

Cats sneeze from time to time, totally normal.

Is everything else normal - eating, sleeping, mood, etc.?

If so, then it could be a minor allergy or irritation.

I try not to take my guy to the vet unless there is something wrong - he is an indoor, only cat and therefore not exposed to anything. Going to the vet and waiting in the room could make him catch something from the other animals.

I would watch your cat for a few days and see if there are any other symptoms.

I would also check for discharge either from her nose or eyes. Rula was doing that (sneezing) for a few days last year, took her to the vet, started her on antibiotics, then she was fine. I would give it another day or 2, then call the vet.

Why is my cat sneezing

The few times it has happened to my boy his nose was extremely wet and he had slight eye discharge. I brought him to the vet and he was put on antibiotics. The vet said it was an upper respiratory infection. He is a totally indoor cat.
