Why is the tax different for these two disney hotels?
Rates do not include 13% tax at All-Star Sports, Music and Movies Resorts, or 12.5% tax at Pop Century Resort.

I forget the exact reason (AKL is the same lower tax as POP) but it had something to do with the location (different town or zone or something like that) which is why the taxes are different. I had to take a double take too when I saw it a few years ago.
Etd bc I had that pop was more with AKL and it is less.

they each fall into a seperate county/town. even though they are close together they have different tax rates. it happens to if you stay in one and you buy stuff at the parks.
