Why must she rub her greasy hands through her hair...
during/after eating. It drives me nuts!!!

DS does the same thing every meal!!!
he actually picks up pieces of food and puts them on his head!
or even worse, when he is tired and his hands are covered in whatever, he goes and rubs his eyes!!
I always have a moistened paper towel during feedings!

Because some food (in this case bananas) makes for really good hair gel!!
On a serious note, DD is 18 months and still does this. Last night it was spaghetti sauce in her hair.

i love reading the parenting board. i learn all kinds of cool things... and i now know to have shower caps on hand when DS is old enough to eat with his hands.

Yup DS does this all the time....dinner table to bath ALWAYS, and I try not to get covered myself.

I don't think Elizabeth does this... DH feeds her usually so I could be wrong, but I bathe her so I think I would notice food in the hair.
She has, however, stuck her fingers in her A&D ointment and then put THAT in her hair because she thinks it's like mommy's hair gel. Fun stuff!
