Why "Pay it Forward" works!!!
Over a month ago, I needed a quarter for a meter. A man gave me a quarter and when I offered him $1 he said "pay it forward". When I was in New Orleans a man asked me for a dollar, I gave it to him and said "please, pay it forward".
After calling almost every hotel in Concord, NC....a man named Mario happened to pick up one of my desperate calls for a hotel. I told him, "I already know the answer but I have to ask." He took a room away from a business block and gave it to me!  Not only is it a great hotel, it's 1 mile from the Speedway! Thank you man who gave me the quarter for starting this chain of events!!!!!

What a nice story!
I did this recently. I accidently bought 2 unlimited metrocards so I offerred the swipe to someone. The guy offered to pay me for it, and I told him to do something nice for someone else.

i had a flat tire years ago on the SOB and I was rushing to get to the train station to get into the city. I had no idea how to change a tire. With only 20 minutes to get myself to the bellmore station someone stopped and changed it for me in 10 minutes flat. I offered him $10 and he said nah, just do something nice for someone else.
I made the train. On the way home a woman was very drunk and very sick on the train, I called her husband to come get her. She was all alone and couldn't even stand. I got off the train with her and waited until her DH got there. He offered me a ride and I just told him to do something nice for someone else.
I hope he did.
