Why we love Jeff

Cut/pasted from an actual email I got from "Jeff" via blackberry:

U don't have to save ur calls for a crisis u can always call me everyone does

I said I would just make an appt to talk to him, I'd save my calls to his personal cell for a real crisis and that was his reply.

aww that was nice! called him the other night because he left a message about results and it was like 9 and i was so scared; i felt like i was intruding.. but he was nice. and he just called me to ask how dh felt and to give me name of a urologist which i thought was nice too. he seems great so far.

I love Jeff because he called me to check up how I was feeling with the bronchitis post ET.

Oh, he also told me to call if I POAS before the beta. Like he thinks that wouldn't happen!

I love him because he let me take home the pic of my uterus from the hysteroscopy just so I could put it up on fb to have people guess what it was. He wants me to send him a list of the comments people made...and the picture back. I think my favorite guess was " a superball that you're selling on ebay"

Actuallly, girls...I think I may have won, sorry

He still emails and checks on me, even though I haven't been a patient of his for more than 10 weeks. He sent me an email after I lost my little girl saying this...and reading it still makes me cry:

"Sometimes when going through a hurricane , you grab whatever possessions you can reach and you get through the best you can, knowing you did your best to get everyone to safety. Afterwards its ok to think about what you left behind and understand your decisions as a parent are to protect as much as you can until the storm has passed, then you look at what you have, count your blessings and move on. And another thing about him...

Even though, again, he wasn't billing for me anymore...I had to have a cerclage and was being put on bed rest. He was calling my perinatologist and my OB trying to find out what they were doing for me, what they found, and how it was being handled. He was calling them at all hours of the night...really concerned.

My perinatologist said to me, "I told Jeff last night when he was calling me about you how much I truly admire him. I've never met a doctor who cares more about his patients. He's truly a wonderful doctor."

I love Jeff because he truely cares about ALL his patients. He expresses genuine concern for everyone, he is easily and always accessible, he called me on Easter Sunday (Passover), he is so compasionate and really feels for you, he seems just as hurt as me with every bump on the road or bfn. And this is just to name a few reasons.....but I will love him even more when he gets me pregnant. Lol!

And he called me up 2x today to help me find a OB..

I loved that he emailed me and told me that I can call his cell at any time-he is such a great man! In addition, he is taking me on as a patient even though I am OOS. I have nothing but great things to say about him! This is why I love Jeff (And it helps that my DH is Jeff too-I love him too!)

ETA-He took a phone call at 6pm on a Friday and I was so thrilled! He is so cute-he wrote to me to call him whenever, because he has no life lol-I said I relate because I am studying for the Bar!

He sounds like he is what a doctor was meant to be and an awesome person all around ! You don't find that very often anymore !

I love him because he sends emails as simply "jeff"....

And becasue he called me at 8pm to give me my BW results (normal) while entertaining his 2 year old, whom he wants to set up with my DD. It was very heartwarming to hear him talking to his son is such a fatherly manner....

I got an email from him at 11pm last night... nothing urgent or important, but he was just following up. AMAZING.

I sent him an email asking him who else he suggests as high-risk aside from Koffinas as I have to switch soon, and he called me back on my cell instead of writing back

This is why I love JEFF!!! because after 3 1/2 years of working with me he never gave up on me.. He never made me feel like this was not going to happen.. Before every procedure and every test he said lets have this baby already!!!! I will not give up!!! He gave me this!!!!
