Why won't she poop in the potty!!!?

So it's been almost 4 months since Maddie has been wearing panties during the day but she only pees in the potty and refuses to poop. She either poops at night the second we put a diaper on her or it's gotten to the point where if she has to go during the day she goes into the closet and pulls out the diaper herself and hands it to me We've talked over and over about this with her I've even tried bribery to get her to go and she has sat on the potty a few times trying to go but then says she can't. The few times I've tried tough love she either pooped in her underwear or held it until she was constipated. This is so frustrating!!!

I know! DS will not poop on the potty either. It is getting frustrating and I have no idea how to get him to do it. I didn't have this problem with the other 2

I think its quite a hard transition from doing a poo standing up, to doing one sitting down, and probably it isn't that comfortable. I also think its a comfort thing, the toilet is scary! We have had this for a few weeks also, where the kid goes to sleep at his regular time but wakes up at all hours of the night doing a poo.

With time, it will come!!!
