Will Begin 1st IVF cycle in May
At my last consult I was told to come back cd 3, which should be May 11 for a sonogram. At that time they will layout my IVF calendar.
A few questions and pardon my ignorance...when will I start with the meds and for how long. What is the overall timeframe for a single cycle from beginning to pregnancy test?
Starting to get anxious, wish it were here already!

Hi! Wishing you best of luck for your 1st and hopefully last IVF cycle.
I think the duration and when your meds start depends on what protocol you are on. For me, I was on Gonal-f (same as Follistim) the night of my CD3 monitoring. I was on stim meds for about 12 days and then on CD 14, I triggered.

Good luck! I started my IVF meds on November 12 and took my first beta (blood test for pregnancy) on December 10. So it was about 4 weeks, but only 12 days of stimming.
