Will Friday be too cold to take my newborns out to the ped?

They have an app't on friday and i am wondering if i should reschedule it. its supposed to be 15 degrees and they are so tiny. If I bundle them up do you think it will be ok?

Well, the rule of thumb for outside activities is 40 degrees, but you are just going and taking them in and out of the car, right? Then I think it should be ok.

If you are really unsure, call the ped!

Its cold! make sure you put them in the infant carrier with a blanket covering them outside. Heck, I dont even want to go outside when its so cold

I would ask to reschedule for next week. See if they have anything availalbe and then make your decision from there.

I think it would be fine if you are just going from the car to the office, especially if the car was warmed when you got in and you can get parking close by the office. Put them in something warm, with a hat, use the bundle me on the carrier and throw a blanket over that! A friend told me to use one of those hairclips we have for our hair...the once with the teeth that spring shut...to hold the blanket onto the shade of the carrier and keep the blanket on!

It is suppossed to be -15 with the windchill. Honestly, if it were me, I wouldnt bring them no.

I would call the ped & ask. You may be fine from the house to a warm car to a warm office, two newborns in below zero weather would make me think twice.
