I think I am the only one who likes them. Of course I don't like 50 of them. But an easter bunny on the lawn is cute. I don't think they are tacky when they are put up right. I think its fun and festive for the holiday season. Plus I know little kids love them and that's what I like most about the holidays.

I'm sooooo with you on this!!!!! They just irk me to no end.
Dh knows I hate them, but he's always pointing them out to me, as I look the other way as we drive by.

I think any of the houses that are overly done wth decorations look ridiculous-
but if it's done in moderation, I like the inflatable ones...I actually really like the ones that are made to look like snow globes, with snow flying around, I think it's cute...
maybe the neighbor that has one for every season keeps putting them up because he's killed the grass in that spot!

I wanted to do that too!!!!!
This past December there was a lot of vandalism of holiday lawn decorations near my job. Channel 12 did a whole story on it. So Dh and I are watching this report, and he gives me this sideway glance, like "Tell me you didn't do this". 
turns out it was a bunch of kids from another town. I think they were eventually caught. Dh still thinks it was me.

How about a blow up mommy doll for May that has curlers in her hair, blood shot eyes from being up all night, puke on her bath robe wearing bunny slippers?
Or for June, a daddy in a wife beater tank top in his Lazy Boy, one hand with the remote, the other down his pants?

I agree!! I only put one up around Halloween and Christmas, but I dont mind looking at them, I dont understand why they would annoy someone, turn the other way if you pass one--lol

My parents have them, basically for the grandchildren. Yes, every holiday there are 1 or 2 decorations on the lawn. This Easter its a bunny that pops out of an egg. My nephew LOVES it! He cried hysterical at Thanksgiving when the turkey came down.
I can tolerate them, but no more than 2 on the lawn. I can't stand when people go overboard with them.
