Will the ped still give shots...
if DS has a cold? He is supposed to go for his 1 year check up tomorrow and he has a cold.

I think as long as there is no fever, they should but I am not sure

I think it depends on the shot and the doc... For any live vacs, my doc will not give shots if the child has been sick...

My DS had a cold at his 4 month shots and the Ped went ahead. He said that the child has to have a serious illness to postpone shots and a cold is not considered that. It made a miserable day that much more miserable. I hope your little guy feels much better soon, colds are so miserable for the little ones.....

Hi Jess! The office says unless they have a fever they will go ahead and givr them w/o a problem. Hope he feels better!!
