manny is back - but I don't want the yankees to catch boston -if they catch boston they have to play the angels - the yankees do better against cleavland - but cleavland is a good team too

I agree! Im torn between pulling te AL East rug out from under the Red Sox... and playing Cleveland.
However, aren't there a few ridiculous scenarios out there involving a weekend sweep by the Yankees, a weekend full of losses by the Angels & Red Sox and one loss by cleveland and the Yankees have the best AL record with home field throughout? Or am I talking out of my *ss?

This is a very tough time in my house. I am a Yankees fan & DH is a Met fan. Poor guy is always so excited in the beginning of the season and so let down at the end
Anyway, I think the Yankees have a good chance if they keep their individual egos in check. I am not a huge fan but it seems to me that when they play like a team rather than a group of superstars they are more successful. JMHO

Are we sure he isn't a closet Sox fan? That definately sounds like the majority of their fans. I couldn't imagine the tension in a household with Mets and Yanks fans.
