Re: windnwillow - any feedback on this preschool?
I went to visit the school last year and it seems like a really nice place. The school itself was very clean and organized and the teachers seemed nice. Outside is a new playground area that is all fenced in and well kept. The door to the facilty has an alarm system.
I like that they offer half-day and full day programs. I like that they had a 2 year old program (which is what I was looking for at the time). I liked that they had summer programs as well. They are a curriculum-based program with a set schedule of things they wanted to teach.
I also liked that they helped with potty training and that your kid did not need to be potty trained by 3 (like some places do).
Overall I was impressed with the place. The only thing that bothered me was that the facility is one big open space and the 2, 3 and 4 year old classes are separated by half-walls. I thought that could be distracting since you could hear what the other classes were all doing. And I thought that would also lead to more germs being spread since it was all so open. Also there were no field trips (not that that was a big deal to me).
But overall, I was very impressed with the place. I have some material that I could email you if you were interested (pricing, curriculum, schedules). They would be from last year though, but I don't think things would change that much.
