window safety?
now that the weather is getting nicer, what do you have on your 2nd floor windows to protect your kids from falling out (when open)?
I've seen those gate-type things, is that the best thing to buy? Last year we were all on one level so it wasn't an issue
Where is the best place to buy these gates? Are they easy to install?

Re: window safety?
Our windows have locks on them. They only go about 3 inches...when the lock is on.

Re: window safety?
We only have a ranch but when my nieces and nephews come over, I open the windows from the top (the top pane of glass comes down)

Re: window safety?
thanks for the link! I like that it's not screwed in....
for now we have been opening the windows from the top which has been fine, but I would prefer there be a gate on the bottom. The windows are really hard to open but just the thought that they CAN be opened from the bottom scares me.
