I was off all week & I'm supposed to return to work Monday morning, but I have this little rule I made up since I moved further away
"if its going to snow, I don't go"

This sucks I promised a friend I would usher for her Sunday night. For those who were in manhattan on the day of the last storm, were the sidewalks clear?

Mine doesn't either. Even with the big ice storm of 2/14 they waited until 3pm to close and it was a b i t c h scraping that ice off.

Manhattan was oddly enough just as bad as Queens. Just wear snow boots and be very careful just incase.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN UPTON HAS ISSUED A HEAVY SNOW WARNING... WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 6 PM EST MONDAY. THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.
LIGHT SNOW WILL BEGIN ACROSS EASTERN SUFFOLK COUNTY AROUND MIDNIGHT... HOWEVER THE STEADIER SNOW WILL MOVE IN LATER TONIGHT. THIS MODERATE TO HEAVIER SNOW WILL CONTINUE INTO MONDAY MORNING. THE PRECIPITATION WILL BE PREDOMINATELY SNOW...BUT SOME SLEET MAY MIX IN LATE TONIGHT. LIGHTER SNOW IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH MUCH OF THE DAY ON MONDAY. BY THE TIME THE PRECIPITATION TAPERS OFF MONDAY EVENING...TOTAL SNOW AND SLEET ACCUMULATIONS OF 5 TO 7 INCHES ARE EXPECTED...WITH LOCALLY HEAVIER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE.
