winthrop university hospital
I just got married like 2 months ago and me and my husband want to ttc. My obgyn used winthrop university hospital. I want to know if anyone has ever used it or heard anything about it. If they arent good i want to switch my obgyn sooner rather than later. thanx

I actually switched my ob just so I could deliver at winthrop. Ive heard only amazing things about Winthrop.

Who is your doctor? My sister delivered both of my nieces at Winthrop and she seemed very happy with them. I believe they also have some new and improved NICU (or something along those lines). Winthrop does have a very good reputation for labor and delivery so I hope this puts you at ease!

thanks...that does make me feel alot better, i go to dr. storch at bethpage obgyn
i actually live in suffolk, i dont mind going all the way there if its a good hospital...ive heard alot of bad things about good sam by me and really dont want to deliver there so i think ill stay where i am and go to winthrop THANKS AGAIN

It is a great hospital. I know a few people who delivered there. When I was choosing a new OBGYN I actually only wanted on that delivered there or North Shore Manhasset.

I've had 2 babies there and a very good experience both time! And yes...the food is pretty darn good!
I also live in Suffolk and it was worth the drive!

I picked my (new) gyno partly bc she is affiliated with Winthrop....
I've heard nothing but GREAT things about Winthrop!!!!

OMG! Delivered there in Sept and it was amazing! The staff was great. The food was great. Overall a great experience. I also delivered at LIJ (4 yrs ago) and it was okay, but pales in comparison to Winthrop.
Let's just say I lived in Riverhead at the time I delivered in Winthrop and will gladly make the trek next time around!

I delivered my ds there 2 years ago and will have  #2 there in the fall. It was a great experience and I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I use John Biordi at the Women's Health Pavilion in Mineola. The dr. who delivered both my kids left and she moved to NH but I would definitely go back to this practice should I have a 3rd.
