Wish me luck, first nap with no binky begins now
I just put DS in his crib without his binky, he's not going to sleep just yet, but not crying either, wish me luck.

Good luck, it took about 2 weeks for DS to fully adjust, and it did get harder the first 3 or 4 days.

Well, good news is he didn't scream his head off. The bad news is, he didn't take a nap either. I had a feeling this might be a problem. He hasn't really been taking a morning nap the past few days. I think he has decided he only needs 1 instead of 2 naps. So, we are going to have lunch in a little while and try again with no binky this afternoon.

afternoon went like this:
12:25 put DS down for nap.
12:30-12:55, DS crying
12:55 - 1:20 DS fell asleep with no binky
1:20 he wakes up screaming and I went to check on him. He is just laying there wimpering and it was so hard to leave him, but I did.
1:30 DS cries himself back to sleep.
3:15 DS wakes from his nap without his binky in a good mood.
I guess we'll be trying this again tomorrow. Day 1 is successful I think.
