Wish me luck ( first night in the crib)....
DD is 5 and a half months old and has yet to sleep in her crib...She still gets up every 3 hours or so...DH put her in there after she fell asleep ...I'm going to miss my little Thumper in my room....
Lets see how it goes ( for both of us !)

Awww, I was sad when DS moved to his crib also, but I'm glad we did it when we did in retrospect (4.5 months). We slept better, and it seemed as if he slept better also. Plus, it was great to talk to DH at night again (sex was not on my mind at that point, but there is that also).
Hopefully your little one will adapt easily.

Oh man you are making me feel bad. I couldnt wait to get Sadie out of our room. She was a nightmare sleeper in the beginning so we literally couldnt put her in the crib. She was in with us for like 7 weeks and I couldnt take it anymore. She was so frekkin noisy on the rare occasion she did sleep that I wanted to rip my hair out.
BUTTTT once we put her in her crub she started sleeping from like 9-4 and then through the night a week or two later.

My DS looked on it before and screamed "MOMMY MOMMY !!!!"

Well I ( I mean "she" ") survived !
It was still a typical night though:
Fell asleep at 7:30
Up 11pm
Up 2am
Up 5 am ( then she came in the bed with us
  )
But she slept until 8:30am  !!!!
That was a first !
Thanks for asking! Maybe tonight will be even better  !
(DS still woke up at 6am though, so I still am sleep deprived )
