So, after the first evaluation and me writing the update post, the teacher who evaluated Matteo last week (the special education teacher) called the next day and said she was going to suggest a PT eval too. So he had PT and the Speech evals. this week. Looks like my little man may be getting both therapies, definitely speech but I'm not sure about the rest yet. Hopefully I'll hear tomorrow with a full report.
Not the greatest news but I am thankful I did it and that he'll get the help he needs. I'll get him to talk one of these days.

I was just talking to my cousin about this last night. I remembered that she had the twins evaluated. Luke had PT. The first night that the PT left the house - Luke got up and walked in his crib. The woman said he was her fastest success story!

Well good luck and remember its like having a personal trainer for free!
My ds has had pt since he was in the nicu and now at 10 months....8 months adjusted he has started walking with a push toy...he is out of his mind and it is great!
WE  PT!!!

So glad he is getting the help he needs. I just had the EI eval. last week. and it will be ongoing since my son is only 7 weeks. it's great help is available!!!
