Wishing well question
so i received an invite for a good friends shower and it said wishing well on it. I didn't have one at my shower so i was just wondering what should i get and what should i spend? I already got her "real" gifts and that equaled $100. some of the gifts i had gotten her (that were off her registry) was rattles, teething rings, etc (she loves NASCAR so she had put those on). Should i use thoughs for the wishing well and just buy something else as part of her gift? Or should i just get her stuff like pacifiers, some toys, etc and leave her real gift as is as i really wanted to give her the NASCAR stuff as her present. Also do you sign who the gift is from if its for the wishing well? TIA!

Re: Wishing well question
At my cousin's baby shower the wishing well was a start of a library for the baby. Everyone just got a bunch of books. No one signed anything. But my cousin knew exactly what books I got (I am a curious george freak and I got her mostly Curios George books)
I would guess the wishing well would be bottles, diapers, pacifiers, nail clippers, etc...little things and you can keep the gifts that you did get her as they are.

Re: Wishing well question
If your gift is a "theme" typed gift (NASCAR) I would leave it as is, and just pick up something small for the wishing well - bib, rattle, etc. You don't even have to get a wishing well gift - sometimes I forget and don't get one.

Re: Wishing well question
I had packs of onesies, teethers, cotton swabs and balls, baby powder, lotion, baby oil, wipes, nail clipper, desitin, travel wipes case etc.. stuff like that in the wishing well..you could just pick something small up at the supermarket, no need to go crazy, its just a small inexpensive thing to help with the baby.l
