... aside of looking for a new job, what should i do??
i'll be doing things i've been putting off...
starting spring cleaning
hitting the gym
getting ready for yardsale
anything else come to mind?

sell stuff you don't need on ebay or craigslist
volunteer at a food pantry or soup kitchen
read a book you've always wanted to read
rewrite your resume

anytime I have been between jobs I always did a HUGE cleaning on my house/apt!!  then I got bored!!

This is a great suggestion. I forgot how annoying it can be to try & get Saturday or late night appointments with Doctors.

this is exactly what I did when I was out of work last year. I made a very nice chunk of change  and got rid of junk. it's a win-win
