Re: Without evidence, Trump tells lawmakers 3 million to 5 million illegal ballots cost him the popular vote
Why is he still harping on the fact that he lost the popular vote? How long is he going to drag the pathetic empty display of support for him on his inauguration and the fact that he lost the popular vote? It's all he ever talks about. Has there been a president in history who's done such a thing??? He's beating this guy now

He clearly suffers from TPS (tiny penis syndrome).
Symptoms include delusions of grandeur, obsessing over the size of objects or crowds or body parts, blatant misogyny, and the obvious- a tiny penis. Thousands of men suffer.

I saw on twitter someone say this: so the Clinton campaign somehow mobilized 3-5 million illegal voters but neglected to place them where it would win her the election?

Re: Without evidence, Trump tells lawmakers 3 million to 5 million illegal ballots cost him the popular vote
I dont know about 3-5 million but there is some truth to his theory. The recount that was started by Jill Stein resulted in Trump having more votes the originally reported and showed fraud that resulted in votes for Hillary. Ironic how this never made the mainstream news but people are shocked that Trump thinks the media is bias and fraudulent
The Detroit News found voting scanning machines at 248 of the city’s 662 precincts — 37 percent — tabulated more ballots than the number of actual voters counted in the poll books. “There’s always going to be small problems to some degree, but we didn’t expect the degree of problem we saw in Detroit.

One cannot trust Fox News or NY Post.
And Trump is talking about illegal voting in California, which is insane in the numbers he is talking about.

California? It's the damn Mexicans. They are rapists, murderers and now, voter frauds! I'm sure he'll use this as another basis to build the wall.

Do the Trump haters on here actually research anything or read facts or just attack based on any random statement written?
The reason Hillary won the popular vote is because of California. If you look at how the numbers broke down by CA counties her highest margins are also in counties with the highest number of illegals. Voter fraud exists in the US, that is fact. I do agree 3-5 million sounds excessive but their is fraud there, that is what Trump is trying to address.

Interesting argument considering trump is saying millions and has no facts, no evidence to back it up. If he wants to share actual facts I'll be happy to examine them. And I have researched the issue.

Because he's a self involved piece of garbage who ONLY ran to stroke his ego therefore, he CANNOT handle that he actually lost the popular vote and that OVER half of America can't stand him. This whole thing was a power trip from the start and ALL he wants is full compliance and praise from EVERY American...................something he'll never get.

... In an Aug. 16, 2014, article for the Washington Post, Loyola Law School professor Justin Levitt, currently on leave to work with the Department of Justice overseeing voting, wrote that he has been tracking allegations of voter fraud for years, including any “credible allegation that someone may have pretended to be someone else at the polls, in any way that an ID law could fix.” “So far,” he wrote, “I’ve found about 31 different incidents (some of which involve multiple ballots) since 2000, anywhere in the country. … To put this in perspective, the 31 incidents below come in the context of general, primary, special, and municipal elections from 2000 through 2014. In general and primary elections alone, more than 1 billion ballots were cast in that period.” In 2012, a team of students led by the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University analyzed 2,068 alleged election-fraud cases since 2000 and concluded that “while fraud has occurred, the rate is infinitesimal, and in-person voter impersonation on Election Day, which prompted 37 state legislatures to enact or consider tough voter ID laws, is virtually non-existent.” In October 2002, the Justice Department in the George W. Bush administration introduced the Ballot Access and Voting Integrity Initiative, which was charged, in part, with targeting voter fraud. But as Washington Post columnist Harold Meyerson pointed out in 2007, the efforts between October 2002 and September 2005 resulted in “just 38 cases [being] brought nationally, and of those, 14 ended in dismissals or acquittals, 11 in guilty pleas, and 13 in convictions.” ...
Many independent researchers have found near zero numbers of voter fraud over the years. Not even enough to sway a village mayor's election.
This election, there were also voters who illegally voted in Trump's favor....
but sure, 3-5 million illegal votes... #alternativefacts

His claim is so outlandish and he has failed to produce any evidence of it. I think this what what they were referring to as an "alternative fact", along with the number of people who attended his inauguration, and basically everything he and his crackpot team says. Or maybe this is an alternative universe. Seriously, what exactly is there to research?!

Re: Without evidence, Trump tells lawmakers 3 million to 5 million illegal ballots cost him the popular vote
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/steve-king-illegal-votes_us_5887a01ce4b0441a8f7133df?
Election officials across the country have found almost no cases of voter fraud in the 2016 election, but Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) is convinced that 2.4 million people voted illegally.
In an interview with MSNBC’s Hallie Jackson on Tuesday, King responded to President Donald Trump’s evidence-free claim that there were between 3 and 5 million illegal voters in the election ? an assertion that puzzled even some of Trump’s supporters.
Citing “sample data from certain counties,” King told Jackson he had done his own calculations and determined it was “plausible” that 2.4 million people could have voted illegally.
“I ... did an extrapolation calculation on how many illegals could have or could be voting in the United States,” King said, using an offensive term for undocumented immigrants. “The number I came up with off of that extrapolation was 2.4 million. So it’s plausible ? the number 3 million sounds like it’s a plausible number to me.”
A New York Times survey of election officials in all 50 states found that there were no documented incidents of voter fraud in 26 states, and that eight additional states reported one case each. Some states are continuing to review fraud claims, but so far, none have reported widespread fraud.
“But I can say, I read those facts from the sample counties and I thought, huh, I wonder what that could mean for America. Got out my calculator, ran the numbers, I came to 2.4,” he said. “I just believe that 2.4 million is a plausible number based off of an extrapolation.”
So... 3 million illegal votes because Steve King's calculator said so...
That's like the students who write down that 5+5=ERROR because that's what the calculator said...

In addition to the offensive term "illegals", most mathematicians would find extrapolation to be an offensive practice!

I just don't get why he's so obsessed with it - he won - he's sworn in, he's the president. Can he give it a break already?

However, why is the term "illegals" offensive? I am honestly asking. If you are here illegally, you are "illegal" not "undocumented." You are breaking the law.
Maybe I'm looking at it through the eyes of a retired ICE officer's daughter, but I don't why we can't point out if someone is here illegally.
Not trying to be snarky - just trying to understand.

I don't have an issue with saying someone is here illegally as much as calling them illegals. I look at it through the eyes of a special educator where it is taught that the person comes first and they are not defined by their disability. For example, I say a child with autism and never refer to them as an autistic child. I also taught students who were brought over as young children and I'm sure they would appreciate not being called by that term since they don't want to be defined by something that was completely beyond their control.
