woke up this morning with a really bad sore throat
i've had a persistent sore throat for a few weeks now but this morning i woke up and it was just really sore with a little bit of coughing. i've read that immunity level is supposed to be low but i woke up feeling like i'm not pregnant anymore except with the sore throat! weird!!!

Re: woke up this morning with a really bad sore throat
I have been stuffed up this whole pregnancy. I often have a sore throat or cough as well. I think it is par for the course. Last night I saw a friend I hadn't seen in a while, she said well your face looks the same, but your voice sounds different. I blame it on all the congestion.

Re: woke up this morning with a really bad sore throat
Not all the time, it comes and goes. I feel okay, nothing like strep and get it more when I'm exhausted. But don't worry, I think it is normal, not so much your immune system, just something with our sinuses now.

If you're really worried, you can always call your doc. I'd probably take some tylenol and maybe gargle w/some warm salt water, and drink plenty of fluids. Feel better
