if you read this article its just so amazing how many times she uses the word "I".. This just seem to be all about her. but then again she is the one with the issue.. I dont know.. Thank Heaven that God has a way of turning a bad situation into a glorious one..

I think that maybe this woman was looking for too much from a baby. Not all babies give back a ton of love and affection. By 18 months, parents still have to expect to give a lot and not take much. I'm not saying she was wrong to give up the baby if she could not sitck with him as a mom.

One important lesson I've learned from being a Mom is to not judge other Moms (unless the specifics are horrendous of course)...I don't know this woman personally, so I'm sure there is a lot of other pertinent info that we're missing out on.

Wow. This made me cry. And I don't even cry when I read those tragic stories about kids dying (I get upset, but I rarely cry...)

What did she expect? She adopted an older abandoned child with developmental issues... She said she did research but all research goes into the attachment issues abandoned children have. If this was her own child with developmental and attachment issues would she have given him away?

I honestly feel she had so much trepidation the entire time, that he picked up on it.... So sad. Thank God he found another family.

This story is heartbreaking...

I really don't know how to feel about this story and I'm trying hard not to judge.

One odd discrepancy, though... in the article, it says she and her husband have 3 kids... in her blog, she says she has 5 biological kids. I assume this means she has 2 kids from another relationship (or 2), but why did the reporter choose to omit that information? He specifically left it out even when he quoted her. Did they figure it would make people more judgmental if we realized she had kids outside of marriage or something?
