Woman Sues Victoria's Secret, Claims Injury From Defective Thong
A Los Angeles woman claims she was injured by her Victoria's Secret thong, prompting her to sue the underwear manufacturer.
The plaintiff in the case, Macrida Patterson, 52, attributed the May 2007 injury to a Victoria's Secret "low-rise v-string," according to a court document posted on The Smoking Gun.
Patterson's lawyer told The Smoking Gun that a "design problem" caused a decorative metallic piece on the underwear to fly up and hit Patterson in the eye while she was putting the underwear on.
Patterson's product liability lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court last week.
The Smoking Gun reported that, prior to the lawsuit, officials from Victoria's Secret had asked to see the offending underwear but were refused by Patterson's lawyer.

When I first started reading the article I thought there was going to be some disgusting injury to her arse hole from the low rise g string riding up her arse too far!

I was watching the news yesterday when they talked about this story. They had on 2 male lawyers. One was defending the case and the other said there was no case.
The guy who said there was no case says something like: "What do you want them to do? Get rid of all thongs and just bring back bloomers?"

my dh told me about this, soo crazy. And when Victoria secrets asked to see the thong she wouldnt give it to them... sounds like a scam to me.

it was because VS wanted her to mail the thong so they can see what actually happened...and the womand and her lawyer didn't want to let the "evidence" out of their hands.
i still think it's a scam. i love it...meredith is like how much money are looking to get, and the laywer refused to answer the question and meredith kept pushing the subject..then he says somethng and quickly says $25,000
i wish meredith was like...you both are morons
