Woman swallows engagement ring
Did anyone else see this?
Her BF dropped her ring into a smoothie at Wendys and was waiting for her to feel the ring in her mouth to propose. Well, she never felt it and swallowed it! She didn't believe him and went for an x-ray. Sure enough there it was. They had to wait for it to pass naturally before she was able to wear it

Okay first of all don't you drink smoothies through a straw? Second, if you were eating it, didn't you see it or even FEEL it in your mouth? Thirdly, I'd have that ring cleaned...steam cleaned.
She has to shiit it out before she can wear it....gross....
ETA: They NEEDED to call the tv station to tell this story? I'd be embarassed.

I know Wendys smoothies are really thick, you usually eat/drink it with a spoon. So she just scooped and swallowed. I saw them on the Today show and the ring isn't small...guess she just has a wide throat
And I agree...I would be so embarrassed to tell this story. That I had to sh!t my ring out. I'm sure they didn't tell the jeweler where that ring was before it was steam cleaned.

That is disgusting!!!
Here is my proposal story!
I was starving. Asked (now DH) to bring dinner..Wendys was sounding good.
I wanted a baked potato.
I open the BAG and sitting on TOP of the closed container of the baked potato was a pink box.
We were at my parents house, not in Wendys (thank goodness...LOL) and he very sweetly proposed after I asked WTHeck the box was for.
He's soooo lucky he didn't put the ring IN the potato!
And I agree, wouldnt she have definitley felt something "Odd" in her mouth?
YUCK!!!! I really hope she had that ring cleaned GOOD or told her future DH to save up and get her a new one!

My DH actually proposed to me in the parking lot of a Wendys. (Ring was in a box, not food) I guess Wendys is a more popular proposal spot then we all thought!
