Wood floor refinishing?
Has anyone had their wood floors refinished lately? We just ripped up the carpet in our kids bedrooms and we want to refinish the oak floors underneath all the old carpet and padding. Does anyone have any ideas on cost? The rooms are not big... like 10x12. Thanks!!

The company that is refinishing out floors starts sanding tomorrow! I am so excited! I called around to get quotes from about four or five different companies in Nassau and Suffolk. The best quote I could get was $1.65 per square foot for oil based and $2.00 for water based. This includes stain, as we picked out a different color from what the floors are currently stained.
Let me know if you want the name and # for the company that we're using.
