Wood Stairs
We are planning on re-doing our stairs. Right now they are covered in carpet, but we want wood. We bought the same pergo wood that we put down on our floor, and the stair nosing to round the edges.
We figured out that the stairnosing will leave a lip at the edge of the stair. Does anyone have a lip on theirs?
Also, are your stair treads the same color as the rest of your wood floor, or no?

Re: Wood Stairs
I am not sure about the lip. My staircase is currently being made at the factory.
But we are having the stair trends the same color as our wood floor. We found a prefinished wood floor that sells the stain to use for stairs so it will match. We are then having the instep white because our stain is a dark walnut we felt it would have been too much to do all dark walnut.

Thank you!! We are doing the instep white as well. If you are having yours made, you won't have that lip. I'm pretty sure about that. We will though because it is pergo going on them.
