Wood swingset/playset and inground sprinklers, what did you do?
If you have inground sprinklers and you put up a playset/swingset, what did you do? Did you readjust them, have to add heads and add/move lines or did you leave them alone and just you allow your set to get wet when it runs?

I don't have an answer but thank you for bringing up the topic. We are in the process of totally redoing our back yard and are installing new sprinklers and a swing set. I hadn't thought about this at all.
Are you worried about the wetness damaging it, the swing set blocking the spray or just the swings being wet for the kids?

I am worried that even though it's finished wood and an "outside" toy, that it getting wet more than the usual amt (rain wise), it will wear on the life of it.
The set we got doesn't really block the spray so much. It goes through, but I just don't think it can be good for it to get wet every other night for months out of the year (vs simply whenever it rains). BTW< we installed directly on our grass. We don't plan on using any type of surface.

We have ours installed on a large mulch bed (I'm assuming you've researched the fall ratings on grass vs other materials) so we don't have any sprinkler lines installed beneath it and the heads that are in the grass are adjusted so that they don't spray the play set.

Yes. I have. As much as I would love to use pea gravel or something like that, I don't like the rubber mulch and have dogs (and random cats passing through) that would use the pea gravel or sand or even mulch as a bathroom. So I don't feel I have too many choices other than simply grass. Which leads me to this question!

When we had a swingset we just let it get wet. Was there 5 years before we moved and it was still in good condition. We had grass under ours as well

We have pea gravel and the sprinklers are not around it.
