Word: Mailmerge question
I'm attempting to mailmerge a list with dates. Database is in Excel. Mailmerging using Word. The dates are formated as "December 10, 2006" in Excel. When I mailmerge the list, it comes up as 12/10/06. I'm assuming I need to make the change in the field code but am not sure what that change would be.
Any ideas?

en englais sil vous plait!
Are the dates formatted in Excel to appear as "Month Day Year" or did you type it out? IF you just typed it out then Word won't know that's what you want. You will need to highlight the date comment and format the date prior to the merge.

It's formatted already as MDY, but it's coming up as mm/dd/yy in word.

Okay here is the 4-1-1:
1) Smack the computer 2) Beyotch at the computer 3) Fix it by hand in word

Just got it! Never mind. If anyone else is having the issue, let me know.
