I have made a few thousand so far-I have only had it since May 7. I have already paid for the entire year through my commission earned. I have my company booking travel though me, I also have had a few wedding parties who used my site to get their hotel rooms for their guests.
Basically, you are paying $99.00 down, which includes the first month and $50.00 a month for this site www.flyorsea.info and an addl $10 a month for this site www.flyorsea.com . So for $60.00, you get the two sites...
I changed my webite name for 99 cents on godaddy.com.
I get to write off all my advertising expenses, my cell, my home phone/fax, my $50 a month, part of my mortgages, etc at the end of the year on my taxes.
You will get a 1099 in Jnauary. I have really done nothing so far other than print postcards and business cards off Vistaprint. Even if I have a bad month, I really don't care beacuse as long as I recoup my maintenance fee, it will cost me nothing. But I am getting spending money so far out of it which helps with the extras that I would not normally buy for my house and my children... like hopefully getting to Disney in September!!! (and getting commission off my own trip!)
You can also upgrade for another $50 and become a certified agent. Once you get your card, you get free tickets anddiscounts at Disney, Great Adventure, hotels, car rentals, upgrades, etc... Then you get a TON ie 5 boxes at 25 lbs each- of Liberty Travel like brochures.
Basically, you are hosting a website.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO MAINTAIN IT! THEY DO IT FOR YOU!!!!
The company is similar to Liberty Travel, but they started franchising websites to have the compnay expand as no one was using their agents anymore. They are located in Texas. The people are really in to it down there and sometimes I feel it is like a cult, lol... But all I have to do is advertise my site-www.flyorsea.com - and my friends and family have used it already. I sent out a mass email, stuck it on my myspace page, even as my signature in my emails and people call me and say OH YEAH! I FORGOT YOU HAD THAT! I JUST BOOKED A ROOM ON YOUR SITE!
30-90 days later, I get my commission checks (actually, you can now get a card linked to your bank account, and I get it deposited directly).
You also get commission if other peopel open stores. SO yes, I am trying to sell you guys. But I am not in to advertising amongst my friends because if they start getting mutal friends to book, I lose my business!
The only thing not commissionable is straight airfare. YES, THIS IS A SMALL BUSINESS WORK AT HOME OPP.
WORK IS WORK, YOU HAVE TO LET PEOPLE KNOW YOU HAVE A SITE, OTHERWISE PEOPLE CAN NOT BOOK WITH YOU!
If you travel for work and get to book your own accomodations, THIS IS PERFECT FOR YOU! I will be traveling for work in July and I already plan on using myself. I have two of my former employees booking through me already-that is how I have so much moeny due to me.
Have I made enough to soley work from home? No. It is perfect so far as a second income, and even more perfect for a SAHM. If you get enough people to join, you can even get some residual income out of it (ie you get money every month because you have enrolled other people).

Like I offer brides 250 inserts ($3.99 cost to me on eBay) with their name, wedding date and my website name to have their out of town guests book their arrangements on my through me as now I am a certified agent or on my website.

Word of mouth
Send info to old employer/current employer who do a lot of work travel
Ask places like bridal salons/hair salons if you can leave a card holder with your cards
Once I got my CTA certification and received my brochures, I stampled teh back and left them in all my dr appts waiting rooms and hair appointments.

I also just found out that if you are a CTA and you sponsor a person, you get 10% commission on their commision. ie $100=$10 for you...
If they get a person enrolled, and they have travel booked on their site, you get 5%...
So that is just another way you are earning.
-Commission on your site
-Bonus if you have someone open a store
-Commission on sales on their site
-A bonus if they get someone enrolled
-Commission off the sale of travel on the person they enrolled's site
