Working moms do you bath DC every night?

I have to admit i just cant bath both of my children every night. I usually bath DS every night and DD 3 times per week (she has really really dry skin).

No...my ILs watch Kaydyn during the week and my MIL gives her a bath, but I admit that sometimes on the weekend she only gets one bath, sometimes none Chat Icon

Re: Working moms do you bath DC every night?

Uh no, my kid is the smelly kid on the block most of the time. If I kiss his feet, and they are smelly, he gets a bath. I guess I am a bad mommy when it comes to this-I really don't have time every night.

DS is never physically dirty, so I usually wash him once or twice a week. In the summer, it will be more because of sweating factors obviously.

Every night. It is part of his nighttime routine and he loves the bath.

Every other night. DS has extremely sensitive skin so his doctor recommended every other night unless he gets really dirty for some reason.

I don't do every night -- it dries out her skin!

Working or not, I do not and would not bathe DD every night. She gets a bath every other or every 3rd night. They don't sweat like adults and bathing is so drying to the skin.

Yes. She loves the bath and I love the time with her. Sometimes when it gets hectic, she misses a night or two, but that's rare.

Re: Working moms do you bath DC every night?

No I just don't have the time. I work FT & I am also in school part time finishing up my MBA. My mother watches him while we are at work & she gives him a sponge bath everyday. Once I am done with school in June (DS will be almost 7 months by then) I plan to start bathing him every night as apart of his bedtime routine. Until then he only gets a real bath once a week usually Sunday nights.

No - every other night. We may start every night when the weather gets warmer and she's more active.

Re: Working moms do you bath DC every night?

You'd laugh if I told you why I do it now. Abby gets a lot of formula in her long, luxurious mullet hair and it gets crunchy. So I wash it.

Re: Working moms do you bath DC every night?

In the winter. My DD gets a bath 2-3 times a week. The main reason is because of her really dry skin. Bathing her too much strips the essential oils in her skin. In the summer time i try to do every other day if not every day.
