Working out and your hair...
This may be a really stupid question but whenever I get my hair done (cut/blow out etc) it looks really nice and I don't need to wash it for a full week (shower with a shower cap). IF I workout, I get sweaty and i need to wash it. It's terrible, but when I get my hair done I end up never wanting to work out for a full week b/c I want my hair to stay nice...!!! Then sometimes I get out of my routine and it takes a while to get back into it. Am I the only crazy person?? What do you guys do???

Same here. I usually exercise, get my hair cut and then maybe get another day out of it and then I need to wash it whether I exercise or not.

I can't go a day without washing my hair, so it's never a problem. Jealous that you can go a week!!

Re: Working out and your hair...
After I get my hair dyed I'm not supposed to wash it for 48 hours. I still work out, but I just keep it in a bun or ponytail and then let the sweat air dry. Its kind of gross, but I don't want to skip workouts. But I don't do that for more than 3 days.

I go to hot yoga, so I can squeeze the sweat out of my hair by the bucketfull after class.
This would never work for me either.

I know exactly what youre talking about! i used to skip them. Now Ive been wearing it curly since a) its summer and gets frizzy anyway b) its longer now so I dont mind it curly and c) im training for a half so I really dont want to skip.
But yes, I am in your boat ;)

Re: Working out and your hair...
When I don't run, I wash my hair every 2-3 days. Nowadays I wash it daily. In your case, what I would do is weight train in a highly air conditioned room. It would be the only way I could avoid breaking a sweat and get some workout and then be ok with not washing my hair. I'v done that in the past when I had to work out but had an event following and no time to wash my hair.
