Worried about weight and TTC/not getting PG
Do you think that being 15-20lbs over what I used to be will hurt getting PG? When I got PG with the boys I was 15-20lbs lighter so I'm just worried that being that much heavier is keeping me from getting PG? Thanks!

I know they say weight is a factor...but I'm significantly overweight and got pregnant fairly fast i might add.
Not only weight plays a factor in becoming preg but so many other things. I would talk to your Dr. and get his opinion.

I'm 15-20 lbs over what I think my weight should be and what I'm comfortable with. I'm a little worried about it, but I am also a few years older and have Endo so I'm sure it's a combo of that. Getting PG was so much easier when I was younger even with the Endo!

I didn't think twice about it but now 2 miscarriages later and my doctor (RE) told me to lose ten pounds and I'd have much better results. To be safe, I want to lose 17 lbs. It isn't my lowest weight but it's one that I really like myself at!

i didn't get PG fast like the above poster...but i'm MUCH more than 15-20 pounds overweight and it took us 6 months. My doctor never ONCE mentioned weight....she was more concerned with my age.

I don't think a difference that small will matter. I was 15 lbs heavier when I got pregnant this time and I actually got pregnant faster. Good luck!

To piggyback this my doctor actually never said a thing about me being overweight until the m/c's. It might be more of an issue for those of us with a higher risk pregnancy because of things like diabetes, pcos, etc.
