would you assume you didnt get the job

I had an interview at a school that was listed on open market but i got it from a friend of a friend who is the AP of this school. She said you will hear from me either way by middle of next week. the principal had been on vacaytion and she had a few other people to interview.
I looked on open market and the job is no longer there.

Also i told the AP that i was getting a new house number so to call my cell. i gave her the number and saw her write it on teh resume. She aslo hasd my email.

Now she did say she woudl call me eitherway.. what woudl youthink??

I would wait til next week if she doesnt call by then give her a call.

They might have taken down the positions since they interviewed enough people to decide who they want to hire.

It's 9 years later, and I'm STILL waiting for a certain district to call me back (just kidding -- but you know what I mean. They also said they'd call either way and didn't. Just obnoxious. I hope that's not the case with yours.)

Thank girls. I am hoping to hear either way. The thig is thr girl lwho interviewed me and got me thr ntervoew is a friend of a friend of thr family. i woudl think she would call for comon curtosy reason bc of that but you never know

I did a demo lesson and never heard one way or another from a district

Although I think my district is bad with not telling people
