Re: Would you be upset if...
I would probably have a talk with him first to find out his reasoning. I personally think that when you're married you should make your big financial decisions together. But let's say I was in a clothing store and would get a discount if I opened up a credit card that I would probably seldomly use - would I call my DH first to ask...probably not. As for the secondary address - I don't really understand why you would even need to give a secondary address. Again, I would suggest just talking with him. Best of luck!

Re: Would you be upset if...
I wouldn't care if he applied for a credit card w/o asking me. I've applied for store credit cards when he wasn't there. I would care if he listed his parents address as his second address.

Re: Would you be upset if...
No and no
He's a big boy and can make those decisions himself. Can't imagine why he'd want another credit card but I don't care that he opened one without me.
-if he's running up balances on his other cards and needs more credit - its a whole different story and I'd be pissed. But we don't carry any balances on our cards.
As for the second address, I don't really understand what other address he could have used?

Re: Would you be upset if...
I would be livid! In our house all financial decisions are made together and our objective is to have as little credit card debt as possible...so getting another credit card without telling me would be a big no no!

Re: Would you be upset if...
1) Not really, although I'd be confused, since DH is horrible with money (just TERRIBLE), and I guess if we were saving up for something where our credit reports mattered I'd want to know why and if it was necessary
2) What was the secondary address for? Was it required for the card? Was it an emergency or reference address? I wouldn't have a problem with that. If it was his main address though, that would be another issue.

Re: Would you be upset if...
I would be really upset. I would feel that he's trying to keep something from me, especially since he hasn't lived home in over 12 years. He'd definitely have some explaing to do.

Very. We share finances but it is less that than a trust thing I feel.

Re: Would you be upset if...
no to both. perhaps i am missing someting but i honestly don't see what the big deal is.
how did you find out that he did this? if he told you then he must have had an explanation as to why.
