Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question but I want to know

What if you were watching a friend's DC (or vice versa) and both kids napped at the same time...and you didn't plan properly and didn't have a pack n play around or something like it....

would you put them together or no?

Depends on the ages.
I used to put DC in the same crib all the time, but that was before they were really moving around. Once they were moving all over the place, they would bother each other so I separated them.

not if they're rolling or mobile in any way, no. Newborns, yes.

They're both 1 (well 13 months and 14 months)

My DS would never sleep with another kid. He is ALL over the crib, and would wind up crushing him (that said, I would also fear for the safety of the other baby if my 3 ft. tall 13 month old rolled over on him).

I don't think that will work. It would be very uncomfortable for both of them in one crib, and they will be all over each other.

Hmm...ok

My friend is watching my DD today for a few hours and we didn't bring a pack n play or anything over there. She has slept in her DS's crib before alone....I guess I just hope they nap at separate times today...I don't know why neither of us were thinking about it (I guess because last time they took them at separate times) Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
