Would you go to Urgent Care for a Rash?

My son woke up with a small rash on his back yesterday,. I made a dr appt and by the time we went to leave it was totally gone. So I canceled it. Last night he had 2 spots where it came back in a different spot. Woke up this am with a small amount of it. After football this am, is was all over one side of his back and the top of his but on both sides.

He has no fever and says it is itchy. Would you bring him to urgent care for this or wait until tomorrow morning?

I've asked the ped. about rashes, he says if you spread the skin apart and the rash disappears then it's a good rash. If your son is really itchy and it is bothering him alot then I would take him, if it's just mildly itchy I would take him to his ped. in the morning.

No fever is really good. Have you changed any soaps, detergents? has he eaten anything different lately?

maybe he broke out again from sweating..? Have him take a shower and see if it goes away.

We had him shower and it has lessened but still there. It doesn't look like heat rash though it is raised and blotches, more like hives.

I am waiting for the Dr to call me back to see if I should bring him or wait. I am leaning more towards waiting, but will see.

Thank you for the responses.
