Re: Would you go to your

Nah, I didn't bother!

It was at the Marriott in Uniondale and at $125.00 per couple, I just wasn't interested. You can literally go to the local tavern in the town where I grew up and "reunite" with half the graduating class. No one moves on or moves forward. There was no one I that I wanted to see so badly that was worth the $$$. If I was good enough friends with them then, I'm still friends with them now. Everyone else is just fluff. I did contact some people through Classmates.com, but that was considerably cheaper at $35.00 for a years subscriptionChat Icon

Re: Would you go to your

I did not go to mine, and I'm glad I didn't. High school wasn't the best time in my life, not to mention there was NOONE I wanted to see from HS that I hadn't already kept in touch with on my own

Plus I had a vacation planned to Italy and there was NO WAY I was giving that up to go to a silly reunion Chat Icon

Re: Would you go to your

I didn't go. I keep in touch with my friends from HS, they are the only people from HS I ever need to see. Maybe I'll change my mind in another 10 years though.

Half of us decided to go skiing instead and the people who went didn't love it or enjoy it as much as they thought.

Re: Would you go to your

I went to mine - only cause I was pushed to go - (an ex told me that I would have regreted it if I didn't). It was alright. Since I still lived in the same town, I ran into most of the people. But it was nice to see other people.

DH did not go to his.

Oh wow!! If it costs that much, I would def. not go.

I am still close to three girls from Highschool, but I am curious to see others (even though I am not friends with them anymore)...you know..just to see what they are up to, etc..but if it costs anywhere to that much to go...I am not going..

Re: Would you go to your

my best friend and I swore we would go to our 10 year HS reunion, only to see how messed up all our graduating classmates ended up! One girl who gave us serious problems ended up in a womens prison two years after we graduated!!! Not to sound like a b!tch or anything, but we went to a private catholic HS where the majority of the students all came from weatlhy families (not us!) and spent most of their time making fun of the less fortunate students..... Not bitter.... I just want to see the look on a few people's faces when we show up as a happily married homeowner and a Psychologist!! (my friend is getting her degree this year) more of a "sweet revenge" kinda thing for me Chat Icon

I didn't love hs but I went to mine because a friend really wanted to go and I actually had a blast!! It was a lot of fun - esp since no one recognized me so I freaked so many people out! Chat Icon I just got a letter for my 15 but I didn't go to that.

Re: Would you go to your

I won't go. Mine is next June. I didn't keep in touch with many friends, and just don't care about seeing the other people. Yeah, I can be like oh I am married, I have a doctorate, I have a home, but you know what? I am way beyond proving myself to anyone else.

That said, I went to my college reunion and loved it because I had tons more friends I stayed in contact with from college.

Re: Would you go to your

I went to mine a few years ago. I wasn't sure right up until that day, but I knew a copule of friends who were going and in spite of the fact that I really didn't enjoy HS or most of the people there, I actually had a really good time.

Re: Would you go to your

I didn't - it was a few years ago.

I didn't like HS when I was there - so I had no desire to return to the same people just older.

I didn't even know they had one for my 10th, until after the fact. I heard it was ok, nothing special. Maybe I'll go to the next one.

SAme here, my friends dragged me to my 10th year reunion, which was held at the school, and I ended up having a good time!

My 15th year is this year (I graduated in 1990) but I think I'll skip it because I've grown far apart from those same friends I had at my 10th year reunion.

I don't even think my HS had one...the people I care about I'm still friends with...other than that...I didn't really care.

Re: Would you go to your

I didn't go to mine. It was a year before my wedding and money had to go to more important things.

Besides the people I care about i'm still friends with, so I really didn't care to see anyone else.
