would you stay on the french side w/kids (st martin)

we are going in November and i will have my kids, i just saw a review for a nice hotel on the french side. I dont think i want my kids exposed to the nudity i heard the french side has- WWYD?

Nudity and nakedness is natural. I think if you do not make a big deal out of it, neither will your kids.

When I was 6 I stayed on the french side. The only thing I remember about the nudity is all of us going to the beach on the right and my grandfather trying to sneak to the back on the left
The nude beaches are marked (at least they were 30 years ago!). The worst your kids might see is topless bathers.

I think most of the nude beaches are marked and a I think they have "sections" so there are areas where the nude people go and the non-nude. we went to a beach and they had that, they also had security walking the beach because you CAN NOT take pictures on the nude sides, the security was every where just waiting to throw people out.

So if your bringing children and plan to take pics, I'd find the beaches that are for both. have a great time its so nice there

I feel like I see nude sunbathers all over the caribbean. There was a woman I saw topless every day I was on my hotels beach in Cancun. I think if you don't make a big hassle, your kids will follow suit.

It wouldn't bother me, I don't have kids yet, but my parents took me to museums at a very young age, and I saw plenty of nude paintings. When I have kids, it would depend on the setting, people lying on a beach, not my cup of tea, but no big deal. Being lewd or provocative while being nude on a beach, different story....
