Wow- HUGE price difference in-store and online!
Went to Roosevelt Field and the Source malls yesterday hoping to find some pants that buttoned over my preggo start of a belly.
I got 5 things in Gap for $49 incl tax, and 2 things at Old Navy for $4.24 each.
I came home and looked for the exact items online so I could get them in another color, and OMG! 1 top is $49.99 online - I paid $8.50 in the store!!! 
I don't understand how they can do that...
eta: they're both having great sales - Gap was 25% off already marked down prices, and Old Navy was 50% off markdowns. And both places had at least 4 markdown racks!!!

Was it maternity clothes...because I notice that the other day also. I got a peacoat out of the store for $41 but online it is still $99

Gap is famous for having the worst online prices, glad you found some good stuff!

this happened to me at DSW but in reverse. I bought $150 boots in the store and when I got home something made me check the exact same shoes online. They were $90 online plus free shipping and i found a promo code for another $10 off. I even called the store and they just said corporate runs different promotions and better ones online!!

I had the opposite experience a few weeks ago - I bought a few t-shirts and a pair of jeans at Old Navy and came home to see if they had something in another color and everything I had just bought in the store was even MORE on sale online!! I was so p.o.'d - I actually re-ordered everything online and now need to return the things I bought in the store
