Do you ladies have any suggestions for the most entertaining bridal shower games?
So far we just have the newlywed game.....

i've posted this one a couple times on here.. but at my shower and a couple showers after mine we did a quote game.
go online and search for quotes/jokes about love and marriage. ( both funny and serious: some examples: " when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible" OR " never discuss important topics before dinner- husbands are irriatable when hungry" ) find
one for each guest thats coming. type them up so they are each on a seperate slip of paper. before the bride starts opening gifts, give each guest a slip of paper with a quote or joke on it. before the bride opens that guest's present, the guest reads the quote on their slip of paper.
it REALLY REALLY is a great way to keep people intrested and entertained while the bride is opening gifts- the guests are excited to hear what the next quote or joke will be, and the funny ones keep them laughing.... its gotten compliments at every shower they've done it at

Toilet paper dress game. At my shower we broke everyone up into 4 groups. One girl from each group was the "model" and the remaining members of the group made a wedding dress for her out of toilet paper. It was timed, so after the time was up DH and I judged the best dress and everyone from that group went home with gifts. People still about how fun that was.

not really a game, but I loved when they had a timer and as the bride to be was opening gifts, if the timer went off and she was opening your gift, you got some scratch off lotto tickets!

DH was given a quiz before my shower. Each guest had a slip of paper with a question for me to answer about DH. When it was their present they asked a question and if I answered correctly, they won a prize ...
What was DH's first car?
Who was his favorite elemetary school teacher?
Does DH have any distinguishable birthmarks?
What is his favorite snack?
What's DH's favorite thing to do to relax?
What was DH's best childhood memory?
Who did DH have his first kiss with?
etc...

for my sisters I am planning on doing the newlywed game
and bingo
you make bingo cards with gifts from the registry- when she opens gifts- people cross off the boxes like regular bingo
the winner gets a prize
and it keeps people paying attention when the gifts are being opened!

my shower was small and not many games.. the one that kept everyone busy was "name that tune"
my moh created a cd of love/wedding songs. many were wedding songs of guests. each song is worth two points: title and artist.
most points wins.
it took many of us down memory lane

I've posted this a few times - we did an "A - Z bridal shower" game (I had done it at a baby shower, too). People LOVED it and got really into it.
The bridal party gets assigned a few letters and they have to buy kitchen items that start with those letters and wrap them up and put the letter on th eoutside of the package.
Then you have the guests think of a kitchen item that starts with each letter of the alphabet. So (I’ll just pick some easy letters) for L it was a Ladle, for S it was a sponge, for M it was measuring cups, I was ice cube trays, P was papertowels.
The guests all had to guess what each item was and whoever got the most correct won a prize.
I passed out the sheets and explained the game before she even got there so it gave the guests something to do, too, while they were waiting. They were all getting really into it trying to guess the items. For X we actually got her a Xanex

The ones from this site are great.
Shower games
I have used these for my sister in law and my best friend's shower. They also have some cute bachelorette type games too. It's totally worth the $20 subscription.
