WR (sorry!) question re Thank Yous.
I am almost done with TY notes, but am stuck on a few. I'm not asking anyone to write them for me but am looking for advice. There were a few of my mom's friends at the wedding, who I really don't know, and just don't know what to say in the thank you besides thank you for your gift, and for celebrating with us on our wedding day. It just seems so impersonal. Any advice or ideas?

You could add something like, "our day was made special because we shared it with you..." or something like that

for my mom's friends, I stuck with the generic, unless I knew them better ...
