Re: WW Activity points questions

The activity points are there if you need extra points but you should not use all the extra activity points you earn each day. If you tap into them occasionally you'll lose weight. I also remember hearing that you shouldn't use more then 7 activity points each day, but that was on the old program. Not sure if that's different now.

Re: WW Activity points questions

Activity points have def. went up alot. I'm 120 and earned 8 activity points yesteday on a 6 mile run. I didn't end up using my activity points yesterday.

In the past for the most part I didn't use them, and probably will continue not to. It's nice to have them though for a special occasion "just in case"

Re: WW Activity points questions

I also never really use them. I also don't normally tap into my weekly points.

I look at my activity points as insurance in case I under estimated foods for that day.

Re: WW Activity points questions

There is no limit as to how many activity points plus values you can earn OR use in a day. WW encourages using them IF you feel you need them, but doesn't encourage exercising just for the sake of eating more.

I would NEVER tell a member not to eat them; I just make sure my members are calculating them correctly. Many people have a tendency to overestimate activity points plus values.

I never use my activity points or weekly allowance points. I don't get how you can use the weekly allowance points, it still baffles me!Chat Icon
My friend on the program says I'm just too analytical. Chat Icon

I am nearing goal and if I ate the excess points I would never lose another pound.Chat Icon Chat Icon

For the week, yes. But past the week, no.

LOL- I should clarify, like a pp said, she doesnt suggest using them just to earn more food, because then you are just spinning your wheels, but yes, they are there if needed.

She has also said that you should definately use your flex points and research shows that people who use their flex points are actually more successful than those who dont.
