Re: WW chili recipe

Is it the lone star chili?

Ingredients
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 pound(s) raw lean ground beef, (10% or less fat)
1 medium green pepper(s), seeded and chopped
1 medium red onion(s), chopped
2 clove(s) (medium) garlic clove(s), minced
2 cup(s) canned crushed tomatoes
1/2 cup(s) water
2 Tbsp jalape?o pepper(s), pickled, finely chopped
1 Tbsp chili powder
1 tsp Durkee Ground Cumin Seed, or other brand
1 tsp table salt
1/2 tsp dried oregano
19 oz canned pinto beans, rinsed and drained
5 oz tortilla chips, baked
6 Tbsp low-fat shredded cheddar cheese
6 Tbsp sweet red pepper(s), chopped
Instructions

Heat the oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until the meat browns, about 6 minutes. Add the green bell pepper, onion, and garlic. Cook, stirring, until the onion is translucent, 3–5 minutes.

Stir in the tomatoes, water, jalapeño peppers, chili powder, cumin, salt, and oregano; bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer, covered, stirring occasionally, about 30 minutes. Stir in the beans; cook until heated through, about 5 minutes.

Serve the chili in bowls with the tortilla chips, cheese, and red bell pepper on the side. Yields 1 1/2 cups chili, 1/4 cup chips, and 1 tablespoon each cheese and bell pepper per serving.

Re: WW chili recipe

Are you talking about the *1* Point chili?

From a long ago post on diet and fitness by either Kim or Azoodie:

Weight Watcher Chili
POINTS® value per serving | 2
Servings | 20

Main Meals |

Ingredients

1 pound uncooked lean ground beef (with 7% fat)
15 1/2 oz canned kidney beans
15 1/2 oz canned pinto beans
11 oz canned yellow corn
4 oz Diced green chiles
16 oz Fat-Free Refried Beans
15 oz Diced Tomatoes
16 oz canned tomato sauce
1 large onion(s)
1 cup water
1 1/4 oz Taco Seasoning Mix
6 serving HIDDEN VALLEY RANCH

Instructions

Chop onion and brown ground beef. Add the rest of the ingredients (DO NOT drain anything.) Bring to a boil over medium heat and then simmer for 15 minutes.

Do not overcook. Should make about 20 cups if done correctly.

ETA: I also measured out the pot I made and I got 20 cups out of it. If you are not getting 20 cups, it might be a variation in sizes of items being used, or undrained liquid quantities might vary from products to product. You may have to add more liquid.

ALSO, make sure you count 1 pound of UNCOOKED ground beef, not cooked. That will also make a difference in calculation.
