This is a very common scam. people have been ripped off for thousands. Just stop corresponding with him. He doesn't live anywhere near you and will not contact you,.

I wouldn't email him back.
If you really feel the need to do it, I'd say that you've sold the lamps to someone else because you were informed by both the bank & the police that it was a scam.

Even from a practical stand point... if the guy was moving to England, why would he pay to buy lamps and have them shipped? Why wouldn't he just buy them there?
